Law360, Chicago (March 15, 2013, 7:41 PM EDT) -- A Tennessee magistrate judge on Thursday barred plaintiffs from bringing medical expense claims in 46 cases that are part of multidistrict litigation against Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp. over injuries allegedly caused by bone drugs Aredia and Zometa, saying they'd failed to comply with discovery requests.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Joe B. Brown also precluded one plaintiff from bringing any claims for lost wages. Novartis had argued that the plaintiff had not provided any proof to support her $1 million wages claim.
