Supreme Court Declines Iran's Appeal In McKesson Dairy Row

Law360, New York (March 18, 2013, 2:03 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear the Islamic Republic of Iran's appeal of a court order allowing McKesson Corp. to recover its share in an Iranian dairy that was partially nationalized after the nation's 1979 revolution.

The court declined to revisit the February 2012 D.C. Circuit ruling finding that McKesson had a right to recover about $23 million for expropriation under the 1950s-era Treaty of Amity between the U.S. and Iran, as construed under Iranian law.
