Asus Didn't Infringe Floppy Disk Patent, Fed. Circ. Finds

Law360, New York (March 18, 2013, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Monday reversed a lower court's ruling that denied AsusTek Computer Inc. a judgment of noninfringement of a former IBM Corp. engineer's patent for detecting defects in floppy disk controllers, finding evidence of alleged infringement to be time-barred.
