CMS: Draconian Rulemaking For Physicians, Testing

Law360 (December 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ("CMS") recently finalized its calendar year 2008 Medicare payment rule for physician services.

The rulemaking contains a number of draconian provisions, particularly regarding diagnostic radiology, including diagnostic radiology testing within group practices.
