Merck Recalls 1.2M Vaccine Doses

Law360, New York (December 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Merck & Co. is recalling 11 lots of its Haemophilus influenzae type B vaccine Pedvaxhib and two lots of Comvax, a Haemophilus influenzae type B/hepatitis B vaccine, saying that it can't guarantee the sterility of those specific lots. Meanwhile, Canada's national health agency is advising against using three lots of Merck Frosst Canada's MMR-II vaccine.
