Biamp Loses Bid To Toss Trade Secret Claims

Law360, New York (December 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss claims against audio technology company Biamp Systems Corp. Inc. from a trade secrets suit involving audio-conferencing technology.

Judge Tena Campbell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah denied Biamp’s motion to dismiss on Thursday, keeping the company involved in the trade secrets dispute filed by ClearOne Communications Inc. against its former employees and the company they created, WideBand Solutions Inc.
