Obama Taps 2 For Court Of Federal Claims Bench

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 11:57 AM EDT) -- President Barack Obama has nominated the general counsel of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and the chief special master of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims to judgeships on that court, the White House said Wednesday.

Patricia E. Campbell-Smith has served as special master on the Court of Federal Claims since 2005, taking up the Chief Special Master post in 2011. Elaine D. Kaplan has served as general counsel of the U.S. Office of Personnel management since 2009, according to the White House.
