Bills Would Tighten Hydrocodone Dispensing Restrictions

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 6:26 PM EDT) -- Four lawmakers on Wednesday introduced bipartisan companion legislation in Congress that would make it harder to obtain high-strength prescription narcotic medication after a U.S. Food and Drug Administration committee voted in January to restrict hydrocodone painkillers including Vicodin to rein in their abuse.
