CPSC Risks Alienating Industry With Litigation Strategy

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 8:20 PM EDT) -- In an effort to force companies to recall potentially hazardous products, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has become more willing to wield complaints as a weapon, a shift in philosophy that attorneys say risks souring the agency’s otherwise solid relationship with industry.
