NY Federal Defenders Brace For 'Brutal' April Furloughs

Law360, New York (March 25, 2013, 3:31 PM EDT) -- Federal defenders in New York, reeling from federal budget cuts and sequestration, said Monday they would start furloughing in April and that their lawyers and staffs will see 20 percent reductions in pay, likely until at least the end of the fiscal year in September.
