Monsanto, DuPont Reach $1.8B Deal To End Antitrust, IP Row

Law360, New York (March 26, 2013, 2:04 PM EDT) -- Monsanto Co. and DuPont Co. have agreed to drop patent infringement and antitrust claims against one another, reaching a deal in which DuPont will pay at least $1.75 billion in royalties for access to Monsanto's patented herbicide-resistant seed technology, the parties said Tuesday.
