Fed. Circ. Snubs Bid To Patent Crest Mouthwash Bottle Details

Law360, New York (March 26, 2013, 5:27 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Tuesday denied a bid by a mouthwash bottle designer to claim only certain portions of a Crest mouthwash bottle he designed, dealing a setback to his attempt to fend off knockoff designers who rip off salient portions of popular packaging to mimic the appearance of name brands.
