Fla. DEP's Immunity Sinks Inlet Pass Closure Suit: Judge

Law360, New York (March 26, 2013, 11:35 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Tuesday booted the state Department of Environmental Protection and Sarasota County from an environmental group's suit seeking to force the reopening of an inlet pass that was closed 30 years ago, saying they have sovereign immunity.
