Iran Must Pay $40M In Attys' Fees, Interest In Dairy Fight

Law360, Los Angeles (March 27, 2013, 6:49 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Wednesday ordered Iran to pay $40 million to health information technology company McKesson Corp. in attorneys' fees and compensation for McKesson's share in an Iranian dairy that was seized after the nation's 1979 revolution toppled Iran's monarchy.

In a 21-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon ruled that McKesson's lawyers, with the firms of Winston & Strawn LLP and Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, earned $10 million in fees for their work on the long-running case from 2000 to 2012....
