EPA To Take Action On Long-Awaited Fuel Standards

Law360, Los Angeles (March 28, 2013, 10:44 PM EDT) -- The Environmental Protection Agency will take action Friday on a set of long-awaited standards to cut emissions from gasoline and new vehicles, according to a Thursday report.

The so-called Tier 3 emission and fuel standards would reduce sulfur levels in gasoline by two-thirds and the amount of pollution emitted by new passenger vehicles by 2017, the Washington post reported Thursday.
