Driller Wins Access To Private Roads In Pa. Appeals Court

Law360, Philadelphia (March 29, 2013, 4:35 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court said Thursday it would allow an oil and gas drilling company to use two private access roads shared by approximately 50 western Pennsylvania homeowners to access wells being drilled in the area.

A three-judge panel ruled that a group of property owners seeking an injunction that would prevent Marco Drilling Inc. from accessing two well sites northeast of Pittsburgh had not proven that they would be unduly burdened by the amount of traffic the company would add to the roads.
