Pa. Appeals Court Clears Target In Beanbag Injury Suit

Law360, Philadelphia (April 1, 2013, 3:26 PM EDT) -- A divided Pennsylvania Superior Court panel on Thursday overturned a $150,000 jury award to a woman injured when she tripped over an errant beanbag chair in a Philadelphia Target Corp. store, ruling that she had failed to prove store officials were aware of the hazardous condition.
