AmerisourceBergen Brings In $308M For Pharma-Packing Unit

Law360, Philadelphia (April 2, 2013, 4:12 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania-based AmerisourceBergen Corp. has agreed to sell its contract pharmaceutical-packing subsidiary AndersonBrecon for $308 million to an investor group headed by Frazier Healthcare Ventures, the companies announced Tuesday.

In a statement, Frazier said AndersonBrecon would join forces with Philadelphia-based Packaging Coordinators Inc., a health care packaging firm that’s part of Frazier’s growth equity portfolio.
