Precision For Medicine Pulls In $150M In PE Funding

Law360, San Diego (April 2, 2013, 11:09 PM EDT) -- Precision for Medicine Inc., a Maryland-based firm that supports life sciences companies, said Tuesday it had secured $150 million in private equity funding from Oak Investment Partners, J.H. Whitney & Co. and Precision’s co-founders.

The company said the parties raised the private equity financing to allow the company to aggressively grow a portfolio designed to deliver lower drug development costs, speed the time to market, and improve success rates.
