Securities Legislation To Watch In 2008

Law360, New York (December 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Though talk of the subprime crisis has been echoing through the halls of Congress for the past few months, lawmakers are unlikely to introduce any major securities-related legislation in 2008, experts say.

Though investors may be clamoring for government intervention in the markets, the presidential election is likely to keep Congress from taking any drastic measures.
