Lawmakers Flesh Out Medicare Payment Repeal Proposal

Law360, New York (April 3, 2013, 6:46 PM EDT) -- A new House proposal, released Wednesday, on repealing the Medicare physician payment system calls for several years of stable, fee-for-service-based payments as Medicare and doctors experiment with new ways to pay for health care.

It is the second proposal from the House committees that oversee Medicare, and fleshes out a framework released by the committees in February.
