Inventor Takes Remote-Access Patent Feud To Fed. Circ.

Law360, Washington (April 4, 2013, 3:55 PM EDT) -- An inventor urged a Federal Circuit panel Thursday to reinstate his remote computer access patent that was nixed in an infringement suit against Citrix Systems Inc., claiming the lower court never engaged in claim construction proceedings and had no evidence to bolster the ruling.

According to Alexander S. Orenshteyn, a Florida federal judge never construed the patent's claims before invalidating the patent in the long-running infringement suit against Citrix.
