Enviros Ask DOE To Stall LNG Export Approval

Law360, New York (April 9, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT) -- A coalition of environmental groups on Monday urged the U.S. Department of Energy not to approve pending liquefied natural gas export applications until it revises allegedly outdated guidelines used to review and approve the applications.

The DOE is weighing whether to approve 16 applications to ship domestically produced natural gas to countries with which the U.S. lacks free trade agreements.
