Kellogg Settles Union Fight Over Pa. Plant Closure Deal

Law360, New York (April 10, 2013, 1:10 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday closed a union lawsuit accusing Kellogg Co. of deciding to close a Pittsburgh distribution center without properly reviewing the union's job-saving proposal, after the parties reached a settlement.

U.S. District Judge Joy Flowers Conti closed the case filed by Teamsters Local 926 in a one page order, but said her order won't prevent the union or Kellogg from initiating further proceedings if they become necessary. Terms of the settlement weren't available on Wednesday.
