Indonesia Geothermal Group Inks Service, Power Contracts

Law360, New York (April 10, 2013, 4:12 PM EDT) -- A consortium of PT Medco Power Indonesia, Japan's Kyushu Electric Power Co. and Itochu Corp. and Israel's Ormat International Inc. has signed an operations and power purchase contract for a 330-megawatt geothermal power facility in Indonesia, Ormat said recently.

The companies signed the joint operation contract with Indonesian-state owned energy giant PT Pertamina, which owns a resource concession for a geothermal plant in the state of North Sumatra.
