Dems Fault Energy Drink Makers For Marketing To Kids

Law360, New York (April 10, 2013, 7:42 PM EDT) -- A trio of Democratic lawmakers released a report Wednesday that found makers of energy drinks market their products in an inconsistent manner, including to children, and contain caffeine in amounts that could be unsafe.

The report, compiled by the staff of Sens. Richard Durbin, D-Ill., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Ct., and Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., was based on responses from 14 energy drink makers to questions from the lawmakers.
