Strine Doubts Dire Predictions In Delaware Forum Row

Law360, New York (April 11, 2013, 12:29 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs fighting corporate bylaws that make Delaware Chancery Court the sole forum for stockholder litigation on Wednesday faced a skeptical chancellor, who challenged doomsday predictions that such a policy would immunize companies from federal law claims.

FedEx Corp. and Chevron Corp. are defending bylaws requiring that any derivative claim, fiduciary duty claim or other stockholder claim under Delaware corporate law be brought in Chancery Court.
