Hospitals Push Medicare To Drop Unique Staff Requirement

Law360, New York (April 10, 2013, 8:33 PM EDT) -- Five major hospital associations on Monday urged the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to drop a proposed rule to require all hospitals to have their own distinct medical staffs, saying such a requirement would hamstring efforts to coordinate patient care among hospitals.
