La. Court Reverses AIG Unit's Win In $8.7M Pollution Fight

Law360, New York (April 11, 2013, 1:32 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana appellate court on Wednesday reversed a successful bid by an American International Group Inc. unit to avoid paying for a shipbuilder’s $8.7 million pollution settlement, but declined to rule on whether the insurer is obligated to cover those costs.
