UPMC Hit With New Union-Busting Claims In NLRB Complaint

Law360, Philadelphia (April 11, 2013, 3:16 PM EDT) -- The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center was hit on Wednesday with a fresh set of charges that it retaliated against workers who sought to unionize, two months after settling a National Labor Relations Board complaint alleging union-busting activities.

Service Employees International Union Healthcare Pennsylvania contends that the health system — which with more than 55,000 employees is the largest employer in the state — continues to punish employees who favor unionizing.
