Regulators Probe 'Excessive' Bank Risk Weight Variations

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT) -- A panel of global financial regulators Friday said they might propose changes to the way banks weight the risks on their balance sheets after a review found “excessive variations” in the techniques banks use to measure those potential dangers.
