NC High Court Overturns Approval Of Duke's $309M Rate Hike

Law360, Los Angeles (April 12, 2013, 6:39 PM EDT) -- North Carolina's highest court on Friday overturned state utility regulators‘ approval of a $309 million increase in electricity rates for Duke Energy Corp. customers, ruling that they didn't adequately consider the economic challenges facing consumers and didn't scrutinize the company's proposal.
