FTC's Brill Urges States To Prod Passive Data Brokers

Law360, New York (April 15, 2013, 7:48 PM EDT) -- Federal Trade Commissioner Julie Brill on Monday pushed state attorneys general to ramp up their scrutiny of data brokers that sell consumer screening information, saying that she was dissatisfied with the industry's slow response to calls for more details about how the data is being used.
