GOP Blasts SEC Delay In Lifting Ad Ban On PE Funds

Law360, Washington (April 17, 2013, 7:09 PM EDT) -- House Republicans railed on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday for failing to meet a congressionally mandated deadline to lift an advertising ban on hedge and private equity funds seeking capital support, claiming the agency's delay shows it's more concerned with lobbyists' opinions than promoting entrepreneurship.
