Brazilian Antitrust Watchdog Clears Retailer Tie-Up

Law360, New York (April 17, 2013, 7:02 PM EDT) -- Brazil's competition authority on Wednesday signed off on supermarket operator Grupo Pao de Acucar SA's merger with appliance retailer Casas Bahia Comercial Ltda., after GPA agreed to sell off more than 70 of its storefronts in the country.
