Pa. Justices Seek Suspension For Philly Traffic Judge

Law360, Philadelphia (April 19, 2013, 4:00 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court moved Thursday to suspend Judge Christine Solomon, the only sitting judge on the Philadelphia Traffic Court not indicted in a sweeping ticket-fixing scandal earlier this year, for her reputed refusal to cooperate with an investigation into traffic court corruption.

In a brief order, the justices unveiled their plans to suspend Judge Solomon without pay for 90 days after she reportedly failed to cooperate with a court-ordered administrative review of ticket-fixing allegations in the traffic court released in November.
