EU Disclosure Rule Irrelevant To SEC Rule, API Tells DC Circ.

Law360, Washington (April 19, 2013, 4:53 PM EDT) -- The American Petroleum Institute and U.S. Chamber of Commerce told the D.C. Circuit on Thursday to ignore the European Union's proposal to mirror a Dodd-Frank Act rule requiring that companies disclose payments made to foreign governments for natural gas resources, saying the move is irrelevant to their challenge against the U.S. rule.
