Obama To Increase Mental Health Reports In Gun Database

Law360, Los Angeles (April 19, 2013, 7:50 PM EDT) -- The Obama administration on Friday moved to eliminate “unnecessary legal barriers” under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act's Privacy Rule that could prevent states from reporting mental health records to the database containing information on individuals legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
