Occidental Denied High Court Review Of Peru Pollution Case

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 2:54 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to hear Occidental Petroleum Corp.'s appeal of a Ninth Circuit ruling that revived claims that the company's Peruvian unit polluted waterways and caused health problems for members of an indigenous group in northern Peru.
