ValueAct Buys $2B Microsoft Stake On Cloud Storage Hopes

Law360, Los Angeles (April 22, 2013, 7:56 PM EDT) -- ValueAct Holdings LP has taken a $1.9 billion stake in Microsoft Corp., making the activist hedge fund one of the company's top five shareholders, the firm's founder and CEO reportedly announced Monday at a New York conference for investors.
