Fla. Senate Panel Clears Medicaid Expansion Alternatives

Law360, Miami (April 23, 2013, 9:55 PM EDT) -- A plan in the Florida Senate that proposes using $55 billion in federal funds from the Affordable Care Act to expand a state-run program as an alternative to Medicaid expansion breezed through the Appropriations Committee on Tuesday on its way a showdown with the House's contrasting position on the issue.
