High-Ranking Ogletree Atty Leads Defection To Littler

Law360, New York (April 23, 2013, 5:49 PM EDT) -- Don Prophete, a high-profile labor defense lawyer who recently left Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart PC amid a dispute over the firm's treatment of another attorney, has led six other laterals to Littler Mendelson PC, Littler leadership announced Tuesday.

Prophete, who started Ogletree Deakins' Kansas City, Mo., office, had been with the firm for eight years before he abruptly left in March. At the time, Prophete said he and other firm leadership had "agreed to disagree" over a matter involving another Ogletree Deakins lawyer....
