Dell Sets Aside $91M For Exec Retention Bonuses

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 4:56 PM EDT) -- Dell Inc.'s board earmarked $91.1 million for retention bonuses for key executives as the company stares down a $24.4 billion takeover bid from a private equity-led buyer group and rival interest from activist investor Carl Icahn, according to a Tuesday filing.

The plan would cover senior-level executives aside from Michael Dell, the Texas computer maker's founder and CEO, who stands alongside Silver Lake Partners in the consortium fighting to take the flagging company private.
