Medtronic Trade Secrets Suit Back In State Court

Law360, New York (January 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Medtronic Inc. has succeeded in transferring its trade secrets lawsuit against two former employees and the rival pharmaceuticals company they now work for from federal court, where the defendants had removed it, back to state court.

Judge Richard Kyle sided with Medtronic's argument on Monday, finding that the device maker's employment agreement with the two ex-workers required that the case be litigated in Minnesota state court.
