EU Commission Pledges To Push Through Bee Pesticide Ban

Law360, New York (April 29, 2013, 5:16 PM EDT) -- The European Commission said Monday that it would move ahead with a proposal to ban three nicotine-based insecticides linked to a sharp decline in worldwide bee populations, despite the European Union member states’ failure to reach a qualified majority in a vote.
