Mastercard Sued Over Patent For Remote Credit Card Payment

Law360, New York (April 29, 2013, 5:49 PM EDT) -- Mastercard Inc. and its units were hit with a patent suit Friday by an inventor claiming Mastercard’s payment technology — used by financial companies including Discover Financial Services and Citigroup Inc. — infringes his patents relating to remote credit card purchases.
