Ukraine Has The Worst IP Protections, USTR Says

Law360, New York (May 1, 2013, 2:50 PM EDT) -- The office of the U.S. Trade Representative blasted Ukraine on Wednesday in its annual report on global intellectual property protection, making the country the first to earn a spot in the agency's worst category in more than a decade.

The USTR's annual Special 301 report named 10 nations, including China and India, to its “Priority Watch List” for insufficient intellectual property protection and named another 30, including Brazil, Canada and Italy, to its lesser “Watch List”
