Bias Suit Over State-Mandated Criminal Screenings Allowed

Law360, New York (May 2, 2013, 8:21 PM EDT) -- An Ohio federal judge last week refused to toss a disparate impact lawsuit brought against the Cincinnati Public Schools by workers who were fired as a result of background checks conducted pursuant to a state law that requires schools to terminate employees with certain convictions.
