BC Partners Offers $1.3B For Livestock Tag Co. Allflex

Law360, Chicago (May 3, 2013, 2:55 PM EDT) -- BC Partners Ltd. has offered to buy livestock identification tag maker Allflex Holdings from fellow London-based private firm Electra Partners LLP for $1.3 billion, Electra announced Friday.

The bid for the Vitre, France-based company still needs certain regulatory approvals and consultation with the relevant works council in France, but, if accepted, Electra’s clients will rake in $630.5 million in the deal, the private equity firm said in a statement.
