Duke Shelves Plans To Expand NC Nuke Plant

Law360, New York (May 3, 2013, 4:56 PM EDT) -- Duke Energy Corp. said Thursday that it's suspending plans to build two new nuclear units at a subsidiary's plant in North Carolina, saying the units won't be immediately needed, thanks in part to natural gas plants the energy company has recently put into service.
